Berks County Lotto Player Wins $5M Playing 'Monopoly' Scratch-Off

A Weis shopper in Kutztown spent 50 bucks this week to become a millionaire.

The lucky player won $5 million playing the "MONOPOLY Own It All" scratch-off game, Pennsylvania Lottery officials announced on Monday, Jan. 29. 

The Weis location at 15260 Kutztown Road will receive a $10,000 bonus for its part, lotto reps said. 

All scratch-off winners have up to one year from the date of purchase to redeem their tickets. Winners should immediately sign the back of their slip and call the Lottery at 1-800-692-7481.
